Val-You Reading
Val-You Reading is a Kindred Spirits Enterprises project in the Latrobe Valley focusing on early years education, ensuring our children become strong and confident readers, writers and learners. Through Val-You Reading, we support a range of childhood literacy initiatives in Latrobe Valley. Activities in the past year include:
- Distribution of Val-You Reading resource ‘kits’
- Support to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library via a grant
- Planning leadership and participation in the 2019 Early Childhood Literacy Summit.
- Gippsland Regional Executive Forum
In 2019, KSE received a Latrobe Health Assembly – Health Innovation Grant to support the delivery of the Val-You Reading Project.
