The Latrobe Valley is fortunate to have many businesses that are keen to support worthwhile community projects.
One of them is the coffee trailer in Morwell, Just Another Barista. Carly and Judah were moved when hearing about the children whose lives are being changed by The Little Village Project.
Put simply, the project supports participating primary schools to provide professional help for students who have barriers to learning. Over the last five years, the project has supported more than 130 students by offering services including mental health care, speech and occupational therapy, and sensory support.
Just Another Barista has teamed-up with Kindred Spirits Enterprises to help spread some love and raise awareness for The Little Village Project. Next time you grab a delicious coffee from Carly and Judah, you may see a special QR code on the lid. Scanning it will take you to info about the project and how you can donate.
As well as coffee, Carly and Judah also serve tea, chai and hot chocolate, as well as toasties, cookies and muffins. Their trailer is in the Chemist Warehouse car park in Morwell (near McDonald’s) and is open 6am to 1pm weekdays. Their friendly smiles will cause you to walk away happy, clutching a satisfying morning brew.
The name of their business is a misnomer. You will find that they are NOT just another barista. Carly and Judah have a caring heart for children and Kindred Spirits Enterprises is thrilled to have their support.
Most importantly, The Little Village Project is made possible by its key partners AGL and the Latrobe Health Assembly. Further business support would help the program expand to more schools, so we invite any coffee-loving business owners to reach out to Kindred Spirits Enterprises to learn more.
