In an exchange of ideas and cultures, Kindred Spirits Enterprises, in collaboration with the Latrobe Health Assembly, welcomed visiting students from Universitas Airlangga in Indonesia.
These students, who will be studying at Federation University Australia in Churchill this year, were introduced to two impactful grassroots initiatives from the Latrobe Valley: The Little Village Project and the Kurnai Young Parents Program – Mentoring Initiative.
Ben Tunks from The Little Village Project and Ang’ Bolding from the Kurnai Young Parents Program led the presentations, offering the students an in-depth look at the innovative community-driven efforts underway in the Latrobe Valley. The discussion aimed to inspire these future leaders to consider how similar initiatives could be implemented in their own communities back home.
Kindred Spirits Enterprises expressed gratitude to the Latrobe Health Assembly for facilitating this opportunity to showcase the region’s grassroots work. They also extended their best wishes to the visiting students, hoping their time in Australia would be filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences.
This exchange highlights the Latrobe Valley’s commitment to community development and the sharing of innovative solutions on an international scale.
