Gathering together in the heart of nature, the Regen Gippsland team and friends recently enjoyed a day of connection, learning and rejuvenation at Victoria and Stuart’s Tarwin River Forest.
Surrounded by the beauty of the rainforest, participants bonded over shared experiences, from exploring the forest’s wonders to deepening their understanding of the environment.
This stunning rainforest, described by many as a “magical wonderland,” provided the perfect setting for a day dedicated to learning, connecting, and regenerating.
Participants were treated to an immersive experience, exploring the lush surroundings and discovering the importance of protecting the Slender Tree Ferns, a key feature of this unique environment. The day offered a refreshing break from the office, as attendees took in the fresh rainforest air and deepened their connection to both the land and each other.
The event was not just educational but also filled with fun activities. Children enjoyed roasting sandwiches over an open fire, embarking on adventures with the forest’s pontoon, and creatively printing the special Slender Tree Fern x Regen Gippsland logo – designed by Stuart – on second-hand tote bags and t-shirts.
Regen Day #2 was a wonderful success, offering a meaningful way for the community to engage with nature and each other. The Regen Gippsland team expressed their gratitude to everyone who participated and contributed to making the day special.
The team is already looking forward to the next adventure on Regen Day #3.
